Young Researcher Prizes

The Tuscany, Umbria, Marche and Abruzzo Sections of the Società Chimica Italiana announce a competition for the awarding of four "Young Researchers Awards", intended for four researchers aged no more than 35 years registered in the aforementioned SCI sections. One winner will be selected for each of the above-mentioned sections of the SCI.

Graduates from Italian universities under the age of 35 on the date of expiry of the deadlines for submitting applications and regularly registered in one of the aforementioned sections of the SCI on the expiry date of this announcement can participate.

The competition is for titles only. Applicants for the award must address the application to participate to the President of the Tuscany Section of SCI, Prof. Massimo Del Bubba, via e-mail (massimo.delbubba@unifi.it) by 26 September 2025.

They should be attached to the application, as PDF files:

1) curriculum vitae provided with the candidate's personal details drawn up in summary form by filling out the form downloadable at the link shown below;

2) the list of all scientific publications of the candidate;

3) a PDF copy of three publications chosen by the candidate as being particularly representative of her/his scientific output;

4) a declaration of regular membership of one of the Sections between Tuscany, Umbria, Marche and Abruzzo of the Italian Chemical Society (Italian Chemical Society), indicating the card number.

The winners will be exempt from paying the registration fee, will be reimbursed for travel and accommodation expenses up to a maximum of €300 and will be invited to present the results of their research activities in invited keynotes during the Conference.
