Welcome to TUMA2025 - Florence, 20-21 November 2025

On behalf of the Scientific Committee and the Organising Committee, it is my privilege and pleasure to invite you to the Interregional Congress of the Sections of Tuscany, Umbria, Marche, and Abruzzo of the Società Chimica Italiana (Italian Chemical Society) “The Conference of Cross-cutting Novelties in Chemistry” (TUMA2025), which will be held on November 20-21, 2025, in Florence, in the prestigious Complex of Santa Apollonia, a former Benedictine convent, founded in 1339, in the downtown, just a short walk from the most famous artistic attractions of the city historical centre.

The congress aims to bring together young researchers, post-doc and PhD students, giving them the opportunity to illustrate their work in the different fields of chemistry, promoting in particular the presentation of innovative and cross-cutting research, and fostering the professional and cultural growth of young chemists. The program will include an Opening Lecture, Invited Keynote Lectures, as well as oral communications and poster presentations.
